I was born in Palermo, in the heart of Southern Italy. I lived in that beautiful city until the age of 20 years.
Then one day I took my whole life and I left for Milan. The city where I live still.
That was in 1999, and since then I have had the good fortune to work in many fantastic advertising agencies.
I started as an intern at Saatchi & Saatchi and I stayed there until I became a true Art Director.
Then I worked in many agencies Advertising, the first in Arnold Worldwide, where I could grow and deepen my knowledge of working on international projects.
Then I went to DDB as Senior Art, here I consolidated my experience working and managing international teams. I had follow many complex projects and have produced a lot of really good creativity.
Then i went to work to Armando Testa, the largest independent advertising agency in Italy.
Now I am the Executive Creative Director of TBWA \ Italy. I manage a team of nearly 50 people, including the creative department of ATL, BTL, Digital and Events.
I think it's a good challenge and I think that the method brought in TBWA is unique, a truly integrated way of working, a really media neutral Agency.
Over the years, my passion for advertising has increased but with it the
knowledge of my creative abilities, I fell in love with photography,
calligraphy, and film making.
I live with the travel backpack always in front of the door. I have traveled a lot and I love to travel, always looking for new and exciting places where you can discover something new, some stimulus ever tried.
I was lucky enough to travel all over the world, South America, North America, Africa, East and saw almost all of Europe.
I am very passionate about the digital world and in addition to having created a publishing house digital TBWA\ called FirstFloorUnder, I have my own Tumblr it is about handmade typography (that i love) and calligraphy, Officina Typographica. I am comunity manager of the respective FB page as well as that of TBWA \ Italy.
I am convinced that to know the things you need to know how to use. I think I'm the only Creative Director to have Google Analytics always open on my desktop.
